I'm so popular among your readers! Hey - had an accident Wednesday; my water heater broke and flooded my place tne the neighbors next door. Had to buy a new heater (not covered by insurance), and the house is torn apart, floors and walls and ceiling ripped out, and I can't remember when I saw a me$$ like this before. Happy Birthday!
Hey Pat - isn't this cool? We're using Alison's blog to blaze our own 'facebook' page! Anyway - I don't think any insurance company would replace that since they don't have warranties over a certain amount of years . . . like, if you're dishwasher was old and broke, and flooded your kitchen floor, would your Homeowners insurance buy you a new dishwasher too? Not likely, right?
Well, Karl, I hope you're able to make up for the lost trip (even though they got rained-out in a way) and go hiking again soon. Enjoy your cool weather!

Anyway, Karl--I'm shocked that your homeowner's insurance didn't cover that. What company? I hope not Allstate. We just switched.

Oh - and my carrier is Safeco. So far they've been pretty good . . . so far.
